Dear Friends,
When I first came to Whitney 40+ years ago, with two small daughters, I began to become involved in the Sunday School program. Never imagining that at this time in my life, I would still be planning and doing projects involving the children. This seems to be my passion and at 63 it's still a good place to be.
I have lived in Boise all my life-graduated from Borah with very little on my mind of what to do with the rest of my life. I tried a little college but that didn't enthuse me.
I have been married for 44 years to my husband Jim, who has always been my helper and doer of deeds as far as my church projects. He has been retired for five years and we do like to travel. I have never had a job that was not volunteer so I probably will never retire!!!
Our three grandchildren keep us very busy with all of their activities. I do like to paint with oils and give a few lessons now and then.
Jim and I enjoy walking, all kinds of winter sports and staying at our place in McCall. We lead a very structured life, perhaps it's our age, but most everybody knows not to call me after 9:30PM at night!!! And I won't call you when we're up at 6:30AM!
My goal here at Whitney is to know the kids as they go from the nursery up throught high school and see that they feel at home. Church is always a place they feel safe. And I will probably be here when they bring their children. It has happened!!
